U.S. Steel to offer $500 million of bonds that mature in 2029

U.S. Steel Corp.
said Monday it is planning to offer $500 million of senior notes that mature in 2029 in an underwritten offering. Proceeds will be used together with cash on hand to redeem the remaining roughly $687 million of aggregate principal amount outstanding of its 12% senior secured notes due 2025. Credit Suisse, ING, BofA Securities, Barclays, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Truist Securities and Wells Fargo Securities are underwriting the deal.
