It was the humans versus the robots in New Hampshire on Tuesday. The Rubio robots.
As New Hampshire voters went to the polls in their first-in-the-nation primary, reporters and at least one group on the ground in the Granite State captured pictures and video of anti-Marco Rubio protesters clashing with the Florida senator’s supporters.
The protesters’ costumes? Robots — a nod to Rubio’s performance at Saturday night’s GOP debate, in which he repeated the same attack line four times. Rubio has faced criticism ever since.
The Boston Globe said the incident happened at a Manchester polling location on Tuesday morning. Rubio himself arrived at the site just before 8 a.m., the Globe said.
Rubio is polling behind billionaire businessman Donald Trump in New Hampshire, and is just slightly ahead of Ohio Gov. John Kasich, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average.

The Florida senator surged in prediction markets after his third-place finish in the Iowa caucuses on Feb. 1 — but plunged in those same markets after last weekend’s debate.
