Royal Caribbean Group Taps Silvia Garrigo as ESG Chief

Royal Caribbean Group said it has tapped Silvia Garrigo as its environmental, social and governance chief.

Ms. Garrigo joins the company from Millicom International, where she also oversaw ESG strategy. Before that, she was the senior legal and sustainability counsel for Morrison Foerster and Cuba Strategies Inc. She held various positions at Chevron Corp., where she worked on corporate responsibility policies.

The cruise operator is set to restart its first U.S. sailing in more than a year on Saturday.
