Kohl’s partners with Eddie Bauer for shops launching in the fall

said Monday that it has partnered with outdoor apparel brand Eddie Bauer for shops that will launch in up to 500 Kohl’s locations in the fall. Eddie Bauer gear includes parkas and items made out of fleece and flannel. Kohl’s will also sell an expanded assortment of items on its website. Kohl’s has set a goal to drive at least 30% of its business in the active category. The department store chain was recently upgraded based on its focus on active gear and its partnership with beauty retailer Sephora, which will bring those shops to Kohl’s stores as well. Kohl’s stock edged up 0.6% in Monday premarket trading, and has skyrocketed 130% over the past three months. The benchmark S&P 500 index
