2nd Annual Peg-Leg Pete Scavenger Hunt

Teams met at "Pear Tree Corner" in front of the historic "Pear Tree Pharmacy" now known as Kiehl's Since 1851.
Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Neighborhood Preservation Center
The 1901 Beaux-Arts rectory building was open to the public for openhousenewyork—America’s largest architecture and design event. Visitors had access to information about organizations housed at the Center, were introduced to some of our resources, and viewed short films related to architecture and preservation. The films included Slumming It: Myth and Culture on the Bowery, Under the Rollercoaster, and Garbage Problems.
